A Japanese hanging scroll painting,
kakejiku

ink and colour on silk, depicting a pair of mallards on a rock at the edge of a pond, above them a tit hiding in overhanging wine leaves, signed Kōin, sealed Nagayama/ Shinryō, contained in a wood box.
