The first one carved in low relief with a two dragons wrestling among clouds, signed to the corner, the second taller, decorated in layered
Kamakurabori
lacquer and carved with fruit, blossoms and foliage.

Provenance: the Claudio Perino Collection, Turin, both purchased in early 2000s, the first from
Sotheby's, London, the second form Nagel Auction.
