A JAPANESE BRONZE VASE BY KANAYA GOROSABURO (1836 — 1890) Meiji period, late 19th century The pear-shaped body rising form a flared foot to a cylindrical neck with a wide rim cast around the shoulder with four dragon head handles and bands of key fret and scrolls, the base with the artist's seal. 20cm x 14cm Provenance: the Claudio Perino Collection, Turin, acquired mostly in Japan in early 2000s. This lot has been imported from outside the UK for sale and placed under the Temporary Admission (TA) regime. Import VAT is payable at 5% on the hammer price.
