The white bowl with a rounded body incised to the interior with veins to resemble a lotus leaf, the exterior with rows of almond-shaped lotus petals, all under a cream glaze, the second conical bowl coated with a thick dark brown glaze stopping short of the unglazed foot.

Provenance: the Claudio Perino Collection, Turin, the 'lotus' bowl purchased from a Kyoto-based art dealer, the brown-glazed bowl acquired from Ajassa Arte Antica Chinese, Turin by repute in 2010s.
