清 三色翡翠雕獸鈕方鼎式蓋爐 配木座
The rectangular body is carved in shallow relief on the front and back with confronting stylized angular dragons, flanked by a pair of bat handles suspending loose rings. The cover is carved with clouds and topped by a mythical standing beast, the Qilin, with its head sharply turned backward, grasping a sprig in its mouth, with clouds rising below. The semi-translucent stone features white, apple green, and slightly lavender tones with occasional russet areas. Qing Dynasty period.
