The first dish painted with a large magnolia blossom and stylised flower heads to the reverse, the second dish with a spray of hibiscus blossoms and the tied cash
shippo tsunagi
motif to the reverse, each resting on a tall foot encircled with a comb design.

A 'hibiscus' dish of the same design is displayed in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, accession no MAR.C.110-1012.
