Possibly Silla Dynasty, 8th-9th century, Korea.

A comparable pair of stone lions, believed to have originated from the Longmen caves, was once in the collection of A.W. Bahr and is illustrated in Osvald Sirén’s Chinese Sculpture from the 5th to the 14th Century (New York, 1970, pls. 114A and 114B).
